Terms of Service

The rules of the deal between you and Rankea. Written to be understood without a lawyer.

1. Who we are and what you are accepting

Rankea, domiciled in Mexico, provides the services described on this site. We refer to ourselves as "Rankea" and to you as "the customer".

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or using any of our services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we process and why.

2. What we offer

Depending on your plan, Rankea offers: website creation and hosting, digital QR menus for restaurants, order taking, table and kitchen management, domain registration, content generation and lead capture tools.

Some services use artificial intelligence to generate or extract content — for example, reading a photograph of a printed menu to build your digital one. Those results are a starting point: it is your responsibility to review and correct them before publishing, especially prices, ingredients and allergens.

We may suggest stock photography to illustrate your catalog. Those are generic suggestions, not photographs of your actual products, and you can replace them at any time.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the services. You are responsible for the information you register, for keeping it up to date and for activity under your account.

You must be of legal age and have authority to bind the business you represent.

4. Plans, pricing and billing

Current prices are those published on this site at the time of purchase, in Mexican pesos unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed through our payment provider. Rankea does not store your full card details.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically for equal periods until you cancel. We may change prices; if we do, we will notify you before the change applies to you, and the new price takes effect at your next renewal.

5. Trial period

When we offer a trial period, its length and conditions are stated at the time of signup.

If the trial requires a payment method on file, you will not be charged during the trial, and billing starts when it ends unless you cancel first. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your dashboard.

6. Cancellation and what happens to your service

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: you keep the service until that date and are not charged again.

When the paid period ends, the service is suspended. Your digital menu, site or dashboard stop being publicly available, and your content is kept for a reasonable time in case you reactivate.

You can request permanent deletion of your account and its content by writing to us. Payments already made for elapsed periods are non-refundable, unless applicable law says otherwise or the service was unusable due to causes attributable to Rankea.

7. Your content is yours

Everything you upload or capture — your business name and brand, dishes, prices, descriptions, photographs and logos — remains yours.

You grant us the permission needed to host, display, technically adapt and back up that content for the sole purpose of providing the service: for example, showing your menu to anyone who scans your QR code, or resizing an image.

If we want to feature your business as a case study or in our advertising, we will ask you first.

You represent that you have the right to use the content you upload, including third-party photographs and trademarks appearing in it.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Rankea for unlawful activities, to publish content that infringes third-party rights, to send unsolicited messages to people who did not authorize them, or to attempt to breach the security of the service or access other customers’ data.

If your menu includes legally restricted products, such as alcoholic beverages, you are responsible for complying with the regulations that apply to you.

We may suspend an account that breaches this section. Where possible, we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix it.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service always available, but we cannot guarantee it will run without interruptions or errors. There may be maintenance, third-party provider failures or incidents beyond our control.

Rankea is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, such as lost sales or lost profits.

In any case, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to it.

Rankea is a tool for your business: we are not a party to the deal between you and your diners or customers, and we are not responsible for the products you sell.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material, we will notify you through the contact details we have on file or with a visible notice in the service, before it takes effect.

If you keep using the service after that date, we understand that you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.

For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mexico, waiving any other venue that might correspond to them.
